Matt alcanzo a divisar a su compañero bandicoot  desde los restos de  lo que parresia una escritura antigua, después de relatarle lo acontecido en el templo bandicoot le dijo a matt-y que esperas bebe su contenido –matt pensó unos momentos –no estoy seguro de que funcione así-dijo matt-aquella  zorrilla   del templo la tenía en un pedestal ,lo cual indica que su contenido es demasiado importante para beberlo –matt  y bandicoot se sentaron y comenzaron a pensar  cómo usar la botella de manera correcta, entonces a matt se le cayó por unos momentos en la arena ,después  de recogerla trato de sacudir el polvo de esta y comenzó a brillar. Entonces ambos notaron el brillo, matt comenzó a frotar la botella y esta aumento su brillo y entonces bandicoot se emociono, la botella comenzó a sacudirse y se le cayó de las manos a matt  pero bandicoot  logro atraparla  y esta dejo salir de su interior humo rojo el cual tomo la forma de una fursona, una ardilla macho, tenía un bigote blanco una trenza de cabillo negro una camisa blanca y un bastón morado con bordes dorados, era un genio.
Buenos días maestro-dijo el genio- soy cesar la ardilla, genio de la botella .matt quedo pasmado, las sorpresa que se llevo era inmensa –ABUELO?!!ERES TU?-el genio lo miro con desdén y dijo –lo siento solo hablo con mi maestro ,la última persona que tomo esta botella –matt se dio cuenta , el no lo recordaba –soy tu maestro?-dijo bandicoot-.                                        Así es –dijo el genio.    Déjame explicarte las reglas de los genios :                                                                                                                                                                           un genio no puede resusitar a los muertos.

Matt le hiso unas preguntas al genio-esas reglas son universales?- el genio respondió si pero hay variaciones por ejemplo si tu quieres puedes quedarte con tu maestro y si el conserva la botella  pero solo puedes concederle un deseo al día –. Gracias  -dijo matt el ya sabía qué hacer. Él le dijo unas cuantas cosas a bandicoot quien fue a pedir sus deseos, my primer deseo es  que alguien encuentre una cura para el mal arbóreo-dijo bandicoot .El genio  se quedo estupefacto ya que su regla decía que él no podía curar enfermedades mortales pero no que otros podían hacerlo por él.
Mi segundo deseo es tener los conocimientos necesarios para  descifrar lenguas muertas –dijo bandicoot quien de inmediato compenso a hablar en lenguas  ilegibles .hasta que volvió en si y antes de pedir el último deseo miro a matt de manera muy triste –¿estás seguro que es lo que quieres? –Dijo bandicoot-debo salvar a my abuelo –dijo matt-pero nunca volverás a ver a Lucero!-dijo bandicoot- es la única forma ,además estoy seguro que ella haría lo mismo ,cuando termine lleva a my abuelo asta my pueblo ,dile a Lucero que siempre la amare  y que deseo que sea feliz-entonces bandicoot con una profunda tristeza pronuncio las palabras de su deseo final…
Mi deseo fue que matt tomara el  lugar de cesar y que después ocultara la botella en el desierto para que no cayese en malas manos-dijo bandicoot a Lucero y a cesar quienes escuchaban la historia que estuvo relatando bandicoot en el bosque de las ardillas. Todo lo que hiso matt fue para ayudar a quienes amaba, nunca pensó en su propio beneficio   ,aun cuando el no pueda recordarnos dondequiera que el este seguro sonríe en su corazón. Lucero seco sus lagrimas y dijo-entonces yo jamás lo olvidare mientras lo recuerde en my corazón el seguirá con nosotros .las ardillas levantaron un monumento en medio de del corazón del pueblo una pequeña lámpara con una llama y  un tronco tallado que decía  -en memoria de Matt la ardilla quien aun vive en nuestra memoraia.
